The International Committee for Weights and Measures (CIPM) has proposed:23 revised definitions of the SI base units, for consideration at the 26th General Conference on Weights and Measures (CGPM). It is expected that the formal vote, scheduled for 16 November 2018, will be approved and that the new definitions will to come into force on 20 May 2019. However, when the metric system was first introduced in France in 1799, technical limitations necessitated the use of artefacts...

In American football, there can be at most one pass per play. That is, when the ball is thrown forward (in the direction of the goal) from one player to another. You can, however, lateral the ball any number of times, tossing it backwards from one player to another. Trinity University used this 15 years ago to win a game and it's amazing. imgur.com/gallery/KEcPl

I'll leave here as a puzzle why the expression print~int(r+s,24)**4%577^4<4 checks whether cells r and s are a knight-move apart in algebraic notation, i.e. it's true for r='c3';s='d5'

I'd rather not DV8 from my current task to look that up, but sometimes looking up the wrong thing on Wikipedia and jumping to the See also section can help.

@El'endiaStarman Not quite the same, but reminds me enough to mention it: The dodecahedron 3 sections up from the bottom of this page is made from 20 strips of paper that follow the surface until getting back to where they started.
