@nhi Ah. Let's start using the femtobecquerel just to make them even more paranoid :p

@nhi much less of that here in the papers, but I still see stuff on the Net. For what it's worth, I think that using any other unit would still have the problem that it says "radiation". In the past people didn't even know it was harmful (let's put radium on watches!), now anything containing the word "radiation" is "harmful"

Ultimately, we want full answers for everything, but it's getting the OP to a point where they have an actual question via hints before answering it which is optimal.

Atomix is a transport puzzle video game developed by Günter Krämer (as "Softtouch") and published by Thalion Software, released for the Commodore Amiga and other personal computers in late 1990. The object of the game is to assemble molecules from compound atoms by moving the atoms on a two-dimensional playfield. Atomix was received positively; reviewers noted the game's addictiveness and enjoyable gameplay, though criticized its repetitiveness. I've got a question. I think it's probably a pretty bad question for the main chem.SE site, but I thought if I posted it here, I might get a useful answer, or even suggestions for how to turn it into a good question suitable for chem.SE.

That's what I mean, it's like switching the assembly line at an automobile plant into one that puts together little red wagons, your brain will be like, "Huh?"

Put up the chem poster in a few noticeboards on my (old) high school. Unfortunately, term's not exactly started yet, so we may not get any immediate effects. But I got some of the chem teachers interested as well. Hope it has an effect :)

@Fx I heard my name being mentioned... re: jelly benzene, I would be honoured. One thing to note though - the isosurface meshes were catmull-clark subdivided and smoothed in blender to get nicer reflections. As such they are not strictly quantitative, but very close. I don't know if that matters to anyone but me. I can prepare a larger version with arbitrary colours on request.

well, in GLSL, spheres are treated separately from all other graphic elements, because they use shaders while others (like cylinders) use polygonal approximation

All you guys had my hopes up about having an active site on the first few days. I go on vacation, and come back to see that you guys have gone the Physocs.SE way--slow main, ghost town meta. :(
