@Rosario Generally we don't like challenges that force using a specific algorithm to solve a problem, because it's hard to objectively determine if a program actually implements that algorithm or gets the correct results in a different way. Soft boundaries

3) It would be appropriate, in moderation, to talk about your language and its development process here in chat. That might raise interest. 4) "I never trust anyone who's more excited about success than about doing the thing they want to be successful at." -XKCD

CMegaC Print your programs credits. Print the name of everyone who contributed to your programing language, it's dependencies, and anything it needs at runtime. Shortest code wins

You never win against Lyxal in these kinds of arguments, no matter if you are correct or have better arguments since he just ignores what you say

One of the art buildings at CMU has a little nook with cute books that the students make while learning printing techniques. I left a little handwritten note asking what happens to the old books, since some I liked from last year are gone, and now the note is laminated and sitting on the shelf with the books. I think it's art now :|

I've just found out that my friend's roommate has invented a system where he's too lazy to cook for himself so he invites people over and has them cook for him in exchange for half of his food and I just think it's beautiful how a little microcosm of capitalist rent-seeking has materialized in her apartment

Hey everyone! I'm Tom - the guy that posted the 'Gamified Coding Challenge for SO' post on MetaSO. @lyxal suggested I jump in here and say hi and get some more feedback on my idea.

For context, I currently lead hiring for Stack Overflow - I've been here about 7 years total, having joined originally in 2015 for a couple of years then coming back in 2021, so I've got a lot of history both with the community and the company. I've had the idea for StackQuest bubbling around in my head for a while now and, having spoken with the Product team, thought I'd put it to the community and see what th
