So the first thing you want to know is that there are different number systems that we use to count things. Usually, we use base 10 because it's natural and it's just how we count. Numbers in base 10 include 5, 12, 850, 94237 and 69. Notice how all those numbers contain digits in the list [1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0]. Those are the digits in the base 10 number system.
