For use of images, you have to bear in mind that just because someone marks an image as CC-BY-SA doesn't mean it is. Not everything on deviantart is really the license it claims to be, as anyone can upload a near identical copy of a copyright image.
Personally I think there's nothing wrong with phrasing a title so it's catchy... it's when you're inventing questions just for the title I think it's playing the system a little :)

@ivy_lynx It's a natural result of living in a 3d cube where the edges are wrapped in the normal computer game sense. I've seen it used once in a short story by Greg Egan (who I strongly recommend) but I don't know of a name for it.
@overactor I haven't looked at that particular question, but I think we should do what we can to encourage science-based answers, particularly to questions that dip into sciences.
