Seems like a simple unfreeze is ignored unless followed by at least one post to reestablish the intervall again. That's why I usually follow my unfreezes with at least a one-liner.
I work behind an really annoying firewall, and I just want the net admin to add all the SE websites to the whitelist. Right now I've lost access to Stack Overflow's authentication, but not Meta's... so I have to come here before I log in there.

I'm asking because I think that bad questions get answers than we reward them, which I think is a bad idea. The answerer should be the first to decide if this question is bad and then not answer it.
@iKlsR as one of the people involved in all the quality posts on meta, this isn't really about our mods making choices, they're just doing what the community wanted them to do
Wax Eagle and I (on Christianity) have gotten error messages for "can't close, this question is already closed) at below the 10 second mark because we both pounced on something from the new questions list. Sometimes you just KNOW something ain't right.
@Izzy I really would like Caleb aboard because he has a proven track record. But everyone has to start somewhere! It's good to have a mix of experienced people and fresh eyes.

Well, there are some questions that meet our (SR) criteria of a good question for recommendation:
It has requirements
Correctly scoped
It won't degenerate into a list
It's not already a list (preexisting questions)

For everybody who might have missed it: Angelo and me where going through the Private beta cleanup: tag synonyms and tag merges answers today, and I've flagged this question to "ping a CM" as we cannot do the synonyms on our own.

Asking back that Americans did that themselves in the past on multiple occasions got the answer: "If an US citizen kills the US president, that's a fucking US issue. But if a non-American …" Well, guess the remains :)
@RockPaperLizard Your help is appreciated, but please don't add irrelevant tags. Tags are for what a question is about, not for a word that happens to be mentioned in the question or is only loosely related to the purpose of the question.
Maybe there's a "secret hat" for: "Posted a msg to chat within 5min to new year using the app getting starred 5 times before 1am, where at least 1 star came from an app..." #D
