Is Wani Kani a good resource for learning kanji?
@MichaelMcQuade it is a good resource but not a sole resource.
@ʞɹɐzǝɹ I'm taking Japanese classes for my language credits at school, so I'm looking for things to supplement my learning outside of that, lots and lots of kanji to learn
@MichaelMcQuade what resources does your class use (i.e. text, and other supplements)
@ʞɹɐzǝɹ Genki textbook/workbook for class
is that all?

@ʞɹɐzǝɹ yea all assignments are from those
TextFugu and EtoEto are also good resources to use
one thing I recommend is not to make a habit of using romaji. Use kana wherever possible
How do you make an account at EtoEto?
Ah is it included in TextFugu?
@MichaelMcQuade invite only currently
@MichaelMcQuade textfugu.com/pricing
is there a site to learn Japanese for beginner?
I mean, like, real beginner
@Darjeeling no there is no one site
but there are places to start
@Darjeeling it depends on where and how you want to start

A good place for me was memorizing the hiragana
@Darjeeling i once used this
japanesepod101.com/helpcenter/getstarted/downloadhowto Japanesepod101 has a public trial feed
the actual resource is paid, but it's not a bad preview
there is youtube channel also
the most difficult part about learning japanese is I think is speaking it imo
i have tried some video they are good

@ʞɹɐzǝɹ even harder than writing it?
@Darjeeling yes, I would say so
but then again... there's the saying 十人十色
Well, thanks for the info @ʞɹɐzǝɹ, I bought a lifetime membership and am going to use this as well to supplement my course.
@MichaelMcQuade so fast, all the best
Is it a physical book?
Ah it's like a flash card system

Anki ichi2.net/anki and Mnemosyne mnemosyne-proj.org are useful too
for grammar, this is a popular choice by some ppl guidetojapanese.org
for everything else, there's:
