Murder, She Wrote is a 2009 episodic point-and-click adventure video game developed by Legacy Games, based on the 1984 television series of the same name. The game features five murder mysteries that the player tackles through point-and-click puzzle solving methods. Although none of the actors from the original TV show lend their voice in the game, the likenesses of Angela Lansbury as Jessica Fletcher, William Windom as Dr. Seth Hazlitt, and Ron Masak as Mort Metzger are used.

Murdered: Soul Suspect is an upcoming action-adventure game published by Square Enix. Instead of a direct announcement, it has been teased with posts on Twitter, with some depicting what could be the tagline of the game: What is the hardest case to solve? On February 19, 2013, a teaser trailer was released on the official YouTube channel of the game. The developer has been confirmed to be Airtight Games and the game will release on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It has been teased to be targeted for 2014.
