It irritates me that most of the decision-making and discussion threads about how to do things for all SE 2.0 sites take place on the SO meta. Why should I have to build up SO meta rep to discuss things that are going to affect gaming.SE?

@sjohnston because meta.Gaming isn't about StackExchange
@badp I don't see why meta.SO should be either. One site with two purposes, unless we assume that everything that applies to SO will apply to the rest of the SE sites
@sjohnston I know meta.SO is kind of a bastard child

I guess that once SE 1.0 goes completely offline, SE discussion will find its home there.
I just hope meta.SE won't then need HTML5 the way chat.SE does ;)
I am mostly just annoyed that I need to work on rep in yet another location to participate in the discussions I would like to participate in. But I guess that's the way it is and I shouldn't go on whining about it.

@sjohnston Well, you don't needs reps to answer.
@sjohnston Would you like me to add a feed of MSO questions tagged stackexchange or stackexchange-2.0?
So no discussion happens "on our back"?
You know I like adding feeds :D, I just don't know if that'd help you take part.
I wouldn't mind that, provided it doesn't spam the chat too much.
Ultimately, I think I'll need to just work on building a little rep over there.
@sjohnston Only one way to know!
