OK, I am going to explain this one more time as clearly as I can so that I can quote this in the future:
Sometimes I have to type in all caps for work. During this time, I will be typing in all caps everywhere. The reason I don't switch between windows has nothing to do with my ability to hit the caps lock key or the effort required to do so. It has everything to do with the fact that if for any reason I forget to toggle my caps lock to the correct state for whatever I'm doing, I have to redo all my work. I could get well into whatever I'm typing before I realize this and could potentially have to retype a ton of stuff. I am one of those people who looks at their keyboard while they type,…

@OrigamiRobot I'd add there's also a simple stylesheet tweak to simply make everything you type into lower case
