so is there a way to remove and purge the latest install and then redo it... I am just hoping against hope :)

and remove anything less than 30 or something

obviously these were downloaded to be installed.

apt-get remove linux-header [tab] gave me a very long list ... and could not locate package linux-header

you can remove a lot of them.

those are the package's name.

sudo apt-get remove <package name>

pretty much remove all the ones below 35
