With a moderator election likely coming up soon, I've already drafted my nomination.
The emphasis is on experience.
4+ years. 100+ meta posts. 2000+ flags. All the key badges. It all adds up.

@DragonLord: Something worth considering. You've often complained about your own self-restraint issues. Its showing now. There's no election announced yet. You've essentially been on the election stump since the last election. It may be worth considering getting those things in order first.
It's starting to come under control.
Not entirely fixed, but I've started to examine posts more closely than before.
This means fewer mistakes and better results.
Its not about posts
Its about balancing real life with well, this
A lot of changes are in the works.
I know I'm not entirely in control of myself. It's a huge work in progress.
But I know the quality of my contributions is impacted on how well I control myself in IRL.
Since that recent scare where I almost left Stack Exchange for good, I've been working on making sure every action I take is properly considered.

Treat every review and every problematic post you encounter as if your responses and actions had the impact of a full ♦moderator.
I take this responsibility very seriously.
That's a thing. I've never seen any other mod or prospective
These kinds of events will never happen again.

Remember when the flagging dialog said "Please flag with care"? Every flag requires valuable moderator attention to handle, so please flag judiciously.

Mod talk about things in those terms or seem so constantly fixated with being elected.
(Or any user bug mods about unhandled flags)

Q: April 2015 Community Moderator Election Results

Shog9Stack Overflow's 6th moderator election has come to a close, the votes have been tallied, and the 3 new moderators are: They'll be joining the existing crew shortly — please thank them for volunteering, and share your assistance and advice with them as they learn the ropes! For details on ...

This is my end goal.
To contribute with the highest degree to care and to always stay calm at all times.
Hm. I think we're talking at each other rather than talking to each other.
So what should I change?
I'm very, very sorry for all the grief I've put on the moderator team.
Stop being quite so fixated. It's probably hard but you're ready
When you listen to the community and they say you are.
I understand the main issue with ultimately burning myself out.

Yup.
Yes, there have been several scares about this. The most recent one nearly cost me my entire SE career.

To the community: I'm very sorry to say that I am leaving Stack Exchange for an indefinite period of time. I am unable to perform my usual moderation work in a controlled fashion. Unless and until I become a truly calm, cool, and collected person IRL, I cannot contribute any longer without risking harm to the community. Farewell...
Thankfully, this was resolved in a matter of hours, but it was a big red flag that I need to slow down and not stress myself too much about doing everything right and keeping up with the most active users.

@Bob, @JourneymanGeek: I'm curious if I can scale up to 30+ answers a week, 150+ answers a month without compromising answer quality or moderation work (think Jon Skeet)
Forcing it makes absolutely no sense.

I know this sounds like a Really Bad Idea™, but I'll give it a shot anyway
In retrospect, this was just plain silly.
I'll continue to contribute as I currently do, with some significant real-life changes in the pipeline that will be reflected in how I contribute.
The rate of reviewing will be reduced and every post will be checked more closely.
I'll just take it easy and have fun.
Comments will be more thorough and less pro-forma.

I'll challenge myself and try to post at least 20 answers from today to UTC end-of-day January 31, 2015 (before 7:00 PM here in New York)

...and yes, I have grad coursework to handle at the same time.
...and I know not to do this at the expense of what matters most: my studies and my career.
Well, let's focus on delivering the best work I can. Good night.
