Hi
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 15:45
if not, maybe there is time for one last challenge :)
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 15:43
and now I am thinking of a ppcg challenge. Have we had one for just counting up on the spot? That is printing 1, 2,3,4,5 etc. to the console but in place, so one number replaces the one before?
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 15:43
got you thanks
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 15:40
just wondering what sort of person if not you
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 15:40
"All in all: everything's working as expected, and someone just needs to have a look at your profile "

@Dennis
meta.stackexchange.com/questions/309260/…
is how far I got
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 15:28
@Dennis so who has to look at it if not you?
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 15:26
@Pavel I didn't mean real suicide..sorry
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 15:24
@Dennis Thanks.. it's remarkably hard to commit account suicide :)

@ASCII-only
math.stackexchange.com/a/2743345/72724
do you mean that is incorrect?
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 11:26
which is not so idiotic
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 11:26
I mean you could ask for a proof that r/2 is irrational I suppose
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 11:25
r/2 + r/2 ?
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 11:24
how can this idiotic question have so many votes?!

Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:31
I worry about their postdoc :)
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:31
he/she just writes a lot of answers :)
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:31
math.stackexchange.com/…
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:30
@ASCII-only found them
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:29
which is slightly mysterious
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:29
I haven't found a single asymptotics question yet!
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:29
for the top asymptotics person in the last 30 days
math.stackexchange.com/users/75808/clement-c
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:28
@ASCII-only that is true
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:26
@ASCII-only thanks
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:25
is that also easy?
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:25
how about for a pair of tags?
asymptotics
and
combinatorics
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:25
thank you
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:25
although I don't know the clicking route to get there :)
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:25
oh that was easy!
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:24
SEDE?
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:23
I want to know who is really good at
asymptotics
at maths.se
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:22
how do you find the top rep for answering for a particular tag?
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:11
of course I haven't watched the full video :)
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:10
@ASCII-only This would be the error rate of the coder I think
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:10
me too!
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 10:09
@ASCII-only I suppose it's hard to measure the error rate in this case
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 09:29
from which you get a different sort of guarantee of correctness
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 09:29
that makes sense but there is a world of people who like proofs
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 09:26
@ASCII-only isn't that like saying that if two people get the same answer in an exam it must be right?
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 09:23
for example, maybe the code was just buggy
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 09:22
@ASCII-only right.... the point is that no one ever proved those 12 trillion digits were actually correct
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 09:22
@ASCII-only cool
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 09:20
that's a lot of rep
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 09:20
:)
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 09:19
this person is on it

Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 09:19
@user202729 I will never learn!
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 09:19
please feel free to ignore
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 09:19
I just liked that they are checking what the millionth digit was
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 09:18
@ASCII-only oh sorry :)
Lembik
Apr 20, 2018 09:18
@ASCII-only sorry when does what start to get interesting?
