Solomon's Temple had been destroyed 600 years earlier
@Ali I have no idea about what Jesus did with respect to the Temple. I don't follow Jesus
But it wouldn't have made sense for him to try to rebuild it, because it was still standing
It wasn't destroyed until year 70

I am unaware of any such thing
there was certainly corruption in the priesthood
And many of the Jews had turned to Hellenism
During the time of Antiochus, the Temple was desecrated
but that was a couple of centuries before Jesus
And the Maccabees rededicated it after recapturing it
The later Hasmonean rulers were corupt
