oh there has never been a recommended way but =I= would use a different mountpoint like /share/ or something like that

I do see lots of STUPID ways though... I know a company that has a 1.5Tb disc that has 1 partition (ie. "/")

that made a directory /share/

and the commercial department of that company decided to do 1 commercial activity: release a new catalogue....

and they made a directory setup with "/share/client1" "/share/client2" etc and put in each dir a copy of the catalogue...

sooooo down went the system :-DDDDDD

What was really funny was the comment from the commercial department: "But we have 1.5 Tb on that disc!" >:D

I'm not able to install, update or do anything else with apt-get, aptitude, dpkg and so on. The lock-file /var/lib/dpkg/lock exists from boot-time on. Relative paths have the habit of not being interpreted correctly, depending on how it gets piped to the binary. Absolute paths are safer.

QSharedPointer is an awesome class.

I've written some code that makes generating an SSL certificate in C++ asynchronously as simple as:

What if the SE sites had a suspected spam sandbox that auto moved the page to an un-crawable area , say withn the first flags, still accessible on the site untill verrified as spam by more flags or mod deletion, so it would all look the same but sidelne the content...
