@Aesin Hmm, I think it fixed itself in later versions (beta/dev) of Chromium. I use dev, and I rarely see it now.

Anyway, it was always a rare bug.

So no need to be so careful. And whenever its happened to me, I've lost approximately four characters :)

@MadScientist When doing my undergrad thesis I was working with micromolar concentrations, so shimming was very important. We did gradshim (or topshim) until all changes were under 100, then tweaked it manually. At my current one, the autoshim is slow, and while it gets things close, it is pretty terrible, and the broadening due to bad shimming can easily leave the aromatic region totally illegible, esph at 300 MHz.

On a personal note I recall reading Sagan or someone like that pointing out that the concept of chaos in greek philosophy is backwards

the ancient greeks used the term 'chaos' to describe the purported state of complete disorder that existed before the cosmos was formed.

but we now know that the universe started in a state of low entropy that has been increasing ever since
