@BruceAlderman I'll drop links to a couple of her articles here. I've not checked, but I suspect she wouldn't mind being linked to and mentioned in passing (that is, after all, the whole point of putting stuff online), but if you're doing a full response to one of her posts she'd probably appreciate a heads-up. That's my guess. I've not asked, yet.
That's three on issues relating to the topic under discussion here, and one other, which I just happen to think is one of the most powerful essays I've ever read, about US Christians attempting to enshrine child sacrifice into law. She's an excellent writer.

I've got in touch with here in the comments on another post. Read there if you want to make reference to her articles.

@TRiG Thanks for these links. In the end, I didn't have room to go into much detail, but I was at least able to reference her situation. A genuinely pro-life position must take into account the life of the woman.
@ElendiaStarman I've got my first draft done. It runs 1218 words, which is intermediate between Jon's and Peter's.

@BruceAlderman I'm expecting this series of blog posts on contraception to be embarrassingly awful, and to have no discernible relationship with the real world.

@TRiG FWIW, most of my post focuses on real-world situations in which a couple might choose to use birth control. My denomination does not have an official position on contraception, but does teach that responsible parents should not bring more children into the world than they can care for.
