Don't tell anyone :), but after each unjust downvote I got ever, in a split second I think: ok, I am out, not doing this anymore. BUT.. only a split second so far :). I guess this is the price we have to pay for a generally useful system.

I went with 3 free ones to start. Some CC from bittorrent (not copyleft, but CC... so legal torrent) that started on kickstarter, and one free from lulu is a decent start. I was hoping you had done some reading and had recommendations.

Artificial intelligence for humans vols 1-3 was a little weak, but it was CC and free. So, what do you want right?

you shouldn't be reading in those directories if you're getting permission denied. that or something is seriously messed up.

@Videonauth All I know is that with NAT enabled on my Mac, even on the localhost, I cannot SSH to the VM without doing your port forwarding. When I turn that off, I get timed out trying to connect to it.

@Videonauth By the way, I was able to SSH through my Mac to the VM by doing the same command but changing the localhost to my IP of my Mac. Worked great! =)
