@EᴀsᴛᴇʀʟʏIʀᴋ Batsh is a language which compiles to bash and Windows Batch, thereby providing effortless cross-platform support for shell scripts, without additional dependencies.
@EᴀsᴛᴇʀʟʏIʀᴋ Yes, but you need to be careful because that could point to a UNC path if there's profile redirection on (which is decently common in a corporate environment)
Traditionally, the common methods of distribution in Windows is via pre-compiled binaries distributed via MSI or executable-zip.
If you want any sort of mass deployment, MSI is really the only way to go.
You could hook yourself into the Cygwin project -- you wouldn't need to worry (much) about conversion between *nix and Windows, but you'd require users to have Cygwin installed.
@El'endiaStarman I was kinda pondering what we might do for regex in Pytek. Then I realized there are so many different flavors of regex now I really didn't want to create one more. <insert standards xkcd>

is(x, y) → Bool
===(x, y) → Bool
≡(x, y) → Bool
Determine whether x and y are identical, in the sense that no program could distinguish them. Compares mutable objects by address in memory, and compares immutable objects (such as numbers) by contents at the bit level. This function is sometimes called egal.
The base string types ASCIIString and UTF8String are actually currently both mutable and the data array that that use to store bytes is mutable as well. However, ASCIIString and UTF8String should both be made immutable. We don't have an immutable array type, so the immutability of the *data* in a string will continue to be a matter of convention, however.
Consider a die with N sides (where N is an integer greater than 1 and less than 30) and a nonempty set B of integers between 1 and N (inclusive). The rules of the game are:
1 You start with 0 dollars.
2 Roll an N-sided die with a different number from 1 to N printed on each side.
