@Adi - yes. It had a slump for a bit while they sorted CIE London membership, affiliations with government, corporate memberships etc, and now progress to chartered institute is well on the way

Got them to commit to regional initiatives, finally, and its looking good

@CodesInChaos yeah getting some of the admin stuff to work on MS products is a huge pain now due to "security" requirements

things like Hyper-V remote administration in a non-domain setting, seem way more complicated than they should need to be
