@Spiderman I want one!!! I actually googled and found this article westboroughlandtrust.org/nn/nn57.php... about a sighting in a town less than an hour from here. Fascinating creature! I like red squirrels too, especially little ones that are barely bigger than a chipmunk, but they don't play nicely with others, which I guess is a general characteristic. Mine will park himself upside down on a tree and thrash his tail and yap at me. It's probably not funny to him but it is to me! :)
@OrganicLawnDIY Hi! I don't know about the celosia, but your pansies are going to be fine. Mine were about that size a couple of weeks ago, and are a bit bigger and out in a pot now. I'll get you a picture later. Cool story-I grew some pansies from seed way too late last year and stuck them in the ground in September, hoping for a fall flower.
Instead, it lived under 3 ft of snow for many months and is now flowering. Awesome surprise! It was just a standard pansy variety I bought from Park Seed that I hadn't wanted to throw away. I've never seen that. I forget where you live-will ck your profile, but I think you're the same, if not warmer, than me.
