@NiallC. Will you check my edit on gardening.stackexchange.com/questions/19457/…;.? I tried to do the picture resize exactly like you did with the snowball question. I almost went one step smaller but it looked too little- up to you! Thanks!!

@Sue Looks good! The letter you add to the image file name controls the thumbnail: 'l' -> large, 'm' -> medium, 's' -> microScopic. :)

@NiallC. Cool, thanks! I also found on one of the questions about re-sizing that you can make squares using t, which turn out really small, and b, which is also square but not much bigger. I'm learning how to set the width from some other instruction you or @J.Musser pointed me to. It's a bit prettier but more difficult for a novice. I tried adjusting width and height but couldn't do both. I think the instructions are in that same question, which is buried somewhere in my favorites!
@OrganicLawnDIY Yup, those do look pretty. That's pretty much how mine do under lights, especially now that I know the light has to be very close or else the seedlings reach up and the stems get skinny and too fragile for transplanting!

@NiallC. And @Spiderman. I was reading your discussion about tags. Would it make sense to create and merge it with ? I've looked for something like that but never found , until I saw it in one of Niall's edits. It doesn't have a description anyway, and people mght find it more easily if it came up in a search of the tags.

@Sue I'm not convinced about tags for "plant-anything" because almost every question on this site is going to be about plants, one way or another. might be a little vague too -- we already have , , perhaps we need to categorize the other types of damage that people have asked about -- , , and so on.
@Sue Using the HTML <img> with width and height attributes?

Yeah I don't like the prefix. It seems pretty meta.

@NiallC. Yup-actually J. had pointed me to this gardening.stackexchange.com/posts/13975/edit... so I could learn how he adjusted width. I played in the sandbox and found that I could also adjust height, but couldn't figure out how to do both. It's in some other question, but looks hard and adds something like &nsbp. Is there an easy way to adjust both? Btw, I vote for . I didn't know those other damages existed.
@Spiderman Point well taken. Thanks for the input!
Speaking of tags (to anyone in general), I added my first, . I was surprised there wasn't one already. Does that mean I probably shouldn't bother to try and make a description for it? I haven't done my first description yet...

I just downloaded this IPad app called Simple Resize. It's very bizarre though! Since you guys are on desktop, I'll screenshot it.
It has these sliding bars & stuff-doesn't make a whole lot of sense and has no "help" but it was free and worth playing with!
Those were some annuals I planted from seed last year-not bad!
