Q: Does this question belong on BiblicalHermaneutics.SE?

ZenonHere is the question. Does this one belong in hermaneutics, as it seems to be related to the interpretation of that specific verse, or not? If not, why? Thanks, I'm just trying to get a better feel for what is and isn't on-topic.

@Zenon: Out of curiosity, would you happen to have any siblings named Neon, Argon, Krypton, or Radon? :P

Q: Can a married woman enter heaven if she bears no children?

Jamie BonelloIs there biblical basis for the idea that if a married woman bears no children she won't go to heaven? Is there a biblical basis against the idea?

Mr. Tapley. LOL

@El'endiaStarman Haha, nope. My name isn't pronounced Xenon either :P It's from Greek for alien, and the Poles changed the pronounciation to ZEH-nin
@LCIII Nice save

2:44 PM
Xenon is a DDR song

2:54 PM
@Zenon Aww, darn.

> A hundred years from now, Christians will proudly recall how they fought for LGBT rights at the beginning of the 21st Century, and if anyone reminds them of Christian opposition to our equality, they will reply, “But that was a FALSE Christianity!” So it happened with slavery, so it will happen with gays.
Rob Tisinai, A Prediction, Box Turtle Bulletin.
In the comments, Timothy Kincaid disagrees: "I’m giving it less than 25 years."

Not trying to rock the boat, but my name is Michael and I have always thought that it meant "Who is like God?" with a question mark. Significant meaning difference. — fredsbend Feb 25 '13 at 16:35

@TRiG ......okay, really? You remembered a comment that was posted about 21 months ago?!

Nah. I just chanced across that comment and remembered your discussion here.

Isn't it funny that there is such a thing as False Christianity
as if the standard exists outside of the member's definition
that there IS a standard by which Christianity is defined
and it's found in the most widely published piece of literature in human history

@Zenon "Greek for 'alien'" - which is in fact where the name of the gas comes from.

Where did my comments go? I don't appreciate them being deleted without even one mod comment.

@curiousdannii I deleted all of the comments for being mostly non-constructive or obsolete. Yours additionally had a unnecessary and negative phrase that I couldn't really edit out without making the rest of the comment seem weird, like it was missing something.
Also realize that comments are intended to be transient, and in the past mods did leave comments noting the deletions, but we gradually stopped doing that. Perhaps in part because it kinda wasn't worth the effort.

11:44 PM
@El'endiaStarman Transient is okay, but it was less than a day!
Non-constructive is debatable. I can't remember exactly what I said, but sometimes idiotic ideas should be called what they are.

@curiousdannii Sure, but it probably is a genuine belief that some people hold, and calling it "exceedingly dumb" is not constructive. Doesn't help improve the question.
"This site is for Christianity and all her heresies"...and wacky ideas too.

No one has presented any evidence yet that it's a genuine belief
Oh well. Doesn't matter. Hopefully the OP can give a reference soon.

Such evidence would be helpful, which is why I've left your current and undeleted comment there.
