Q: New ball rules for ITTF

chrisjleeI was reading on reddit that there's a new ball being used for table tennis. Is this true? Are there new rules in place regarding a new ball? If so what caused the change to of rules?

@SebastianLamerichs Personally, I do not follow tennis. With the exception of the world cup and other major sporting events, it is quiet here with the exception of myself and two others (@waxeagle and @MichaelMyers). There is the occasional visit by @skullpatrol and @JacobJanTuinstra among others...@NicholasV had vitalized the chat room until his workplace blocked it. But I do agree, it is quiet, and usually things that are shared are glossed over.

Yo @edmastermind29 wazzup pal?

Cool, thanks for sharing @edmastermind29

user46190

Q: Why was this question considered too broad?

studroI recently asked the following question: How many injuries would be prevented by banning slide tackles? In order to narrow down the question, I provided an initial background into the question, broke it down into two smaller sub-questions, and suggested a conclusion that could be drawn from from...

Q: Baseball runner called out but still runs like he was safe drawing a throw allowing another runner to advance

Sam MontoyaHere is the situation. Runners at first and second nobody out. Grounder to second throws out the runner going to second. Called out clearly by the umpire. The relay to first for the double play is not in time. The runner to second who was called out continues his run towards third base dugout....

BREAKING: Sources tell @FOXSports1 Browns WR Josh Gordon's one-year suspension has been upheld on appeal.

smoking weed >> beating your girlfriend senseless :(

To be fair, it's his third offense

true
ultimately, it leads me to one of my more puzzling thoughts. Why do guys who make as much money, have as much success and as much visibility as these guys do the things they do.

@waxeagle entitlement?

user46190
@waxeagle summary: there isn't any weed worth millions of dollars. stay off the weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed.

@edmastermind29 possible. I know there are cultural and economic issues at play too.
@edmastermind29 that's what I figured. Don't do stupid stuff, it costs you your career, reputation etc etc etc

user46190
@waxeagle if you take a look at young superstars who are hotshotted...if they and/or their support system has no experience in handling such attention, it usually doesn't fare well.

user46190
they're also made to focus on one thing, which in Gordon's case, is football. you get these cases where they're like "what? that can happen?" cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/24673198/…

5:42 PM
Are you ready for some footbaaaall?!
Without Hank :)
or those fake dives that they do in soccer.

That's right. When an American football player goes down like that, you can bet they've suffered a genuine excruciatingly painful career-ending injury

they wouldn't ever stall for time or anything.

6:27 PM
Unless Vegas calls ;-)
Like they did in the Superbowl for the power outage.
