Q: Ran first Marathon. Now what?

RofloThis weekend I'll be running my first marathon. So, what comes next? I know I shouldn't stop running (and don't want to). I followed a very detailed training plan, but haven't found a post-race plan. Is there such thing as a post-race plan? So far I know I'll run 3k/2mi (as slow as I feel comfo...

if true (and I see no way it isn't) this is huge:
The NFL announced sweeping new measures on domestic violence in a letter to owners today; Six games for 1st offense, lifetime ban for 2nd.
(that's a giants/jets writer, i assume she's seen the letter since)
On Ray Rice discipline: "I didn’t get it right," NFL commissioner Roger Goodell writes to owners.

@waxeagle No way! LIFETIME BAN

Ban the UFC
it was a blood bath when it first came out remember?
the octagon was literally covered in blood
and still is today, but much less so
just my opinion @waxeagle @MichaelMyers :-)
NFL players would be able to apply for reinstatement if given a lifetime ban under new policy.
Typical sporting news sensationalism >8(

@skullpatrol not really, this is fairly typical for the NFL. institute lifetime or indefinite bans, allow application for reinstatement approximately a year later.

icic

it's not like baseball, baseball holds interminable grudges

7:09 PM
and is a much more civilized sport

Q: Why is a 4-2-5 defense named as such?

David MortonI was watching a Bleacher Report video. In the video breaking down the TAMU-SC opener game, the narrator said, "Thanks to the abundance of linebacking talent, [SC] are looking to move to more of a 3-4 than they're traditional 4-2-5." I understand the 3-4, but in looking at the 4-2-5 defense onl...
