I started working on a project where I need to make a simple interface with C language using GTK, then I need to connect that interface with Linux system, I started working with "Glade" witch is an "interface designer" the problem is, when the code is generated, it does compiles, but no execution...
@Seth glade isn't really supposed to "do" generation of code except for test runs(just a ui file)... oof. i don't use glade much anyway. ui files are nice, but dynamic construction from code is easier.

@AvinashRaj regarding this? I was just going from what you had originally written. I think I remember it was ctrl super d when I used 12.10 so you should be right.

Yo! Anyone knows where I can get a simple! explanation on what all the software licensing, do's and donts are. What you can and cannot do, explained in depth. Thinking about posting some code on github. But, wanna be prepared before i do that!
@blade19899 suggest use this github based site to both add a license, and also look at what each license actually permits (addalicense.com/add) - choose the license in the drop-down. Click on the link at the side of the drop down. Look at the bar on the right hand-side as to the summary of what the license does or does not permit.
so, i dont have a CD DRIVE in my computer and i use bootable Pendrives to boot up my PC. now, my pen drive is lost. so, can i have a bootable cd drive which can install Opearting systems like that in oracle virtual box?
@Braiam bit tongue in cheek - but at least using gtk2 the interface API never changes - the GTK3 guys and girls are forever breaking their own API's making keeping up-to-date difficult.
There is a modified Windows xp ISO with me and i am not having CD drive. I want to directly install it from GRUB. Also, I have tried booting it from USB but Windows XP cannot be installed through USB. Please tell me how to do it.
@Utkarsh Because the formatting was horrible, you only used caps in the title and you haven't shown that you've done anything but write the question. If you Google for "grub boot iso" you'll see a few million suggestions on what to do.
