@NickAlexeev, on that last "gimme gimme" question, should I have used the off-topic flag first, rather than the diamond moderator?

@SeanBoddy I think, close-voting as off-topic with a custom message would be a better method. The question would end up in the review queue, where it can be acted on by 3k users in addition to diamond mods. However, don't take my word for it just yet, I have to look-up this subtle difference between the kinds of flags.
