"capitalised" is valid spelling in some many parts of the word right?

Erm, yeah that.

The stats for CR will be, approximately, http://data.stackexchange.com/codereview/query/227430/numbers-of-keeper-archivis‌t-curator
3 hours ago, by rolfl
the hack query is: http://data.stackexchange.com/codereview/query/229354/numbers-of-keeper-archivis‌t-curator
And it seems Malachi makes 5.... not the 4 the query shows.
And, I asked the dev team, if you got the silver badge, you have not (yet) got the bronze badge.

@Mat'sMug ever been states-side? It's funny how beers labeled "Dry" in Canada, they label "Ice" instead here. So you get a Molson Ice, Labatt Blue Ice, Milwaukee's Best Ice, etc.

interesting

Also... "Laurentides" from up there they label Molson Canadian here...

...but then, ...what's the Molson Canadian they're giving us then?

Guess "Laurentides" is a pretty challenging word for American population to pronounce
@Mat'sMug It's "Laurentides" with a different label :)
BUT! I did manage to find some Fin Du Monde brews in a few places!

woah
Unibroue!

12:36 AM
Very expensive, like $8 a bottle for any Unibroue, but it's here!
(tall bottle)

so they have La Maudite also?

I think I might have seen that one...
All those are imports here and usually on the same shelf rack as crappy Corona and Heineken. They often get overlooked because of price.

same shelf as Tsing Tao?

You can get a 6-pack of Labatt Blue for $9 or a 30-pack of Natural Dry Ice for $16

I haven't looked for that one, never had it. Seen Zapporo (wrong country) once or twice.

A: Raising a number to an integral power

200_successYour function fails to calculate \$x^0\$ correctly. I would expect it to return Double.NaN when \$x = 0\$, and 1 otherwise.

A: Power Series $0^{0}$

HurkylIn a power series, $x^n$ is not exponentiation operation on real numbers. Instead, it uses a different exponentiation operation; e.g. repeated multiplication suffices for this purpose. Therefore, $x^0=1$ identically. Of course, most people don't like to pay attention to this level of detail in s...

> they just treat x^0=1 when x=0 as a convention.

That's in the context of power series, was the CR question about that?

@Pimgd your comment seems to just show a "off by one" error when comparing to OP code...
possibly i < b.nestCount(); was the actual plan.. (or i <= b.nestCount - 1;)

@Vogel612 i goes from 0 to max-1, and in the loop i and i+1 is used.
given a list of 3:
0,1
1,2
halts

@Pimgd well you can't access max + 1....

8:24 AM
Well yeah, that's why it has < count -1

list of 3: (0, 1, 2)
sooo what exactly is your problem??

The answer creates a new bug.

for (int i = 0; i< bs.Nest.Count()-1; i++) <-- OP code, should do exactly the same..

foreach (var nextNest in b.SelectMany(bird => (
            from nest in bird.Nest as List<BirdNest> ?? bird.Nest.ToList()
            let nextNest = bird.Nest[bird.Nest.IndexOf(nest) + 1]
            where (nest.X == nextNest.X && nest.Y == nextNest.Y)
            select nextNest)))
let nextNest = bird.Nest[bird.Nest.IndexOf(nest) + 1]
Index out of bounds.

ermph, yea you're right..

8:27 AM
And then the answer goes on to state that it's all OP's fault.
Big fat -1.

Isn't indention part of the code ? So reviewing indention is codereview ?

@SimonAndréForsberg Directory.GetFiles() returns String[] in C#

@Heslacher DateTime GetTimeForFile(String d) then I guess?

yeap, but as we are CodeReview shouldn't you name the parameter a little bit more descriptive instead of d ?

like dir
(That'd be pretty terrible actually, you need to pass in a file, but it's a string that's a directory? Wat?)

no, like fileName as it is a filename

@Heslacher just used the name the OP had :)

Does anybody know the why of this codereview.stackexchange.com/questions/64377/…

@Heslacher Perhaps the original coder just didn't know any better?

Why does SE not tell you someone else editted the post if you submit a suggested edit?

According to my calculations, Code Review graduation was officially decided on Beta day 1341, not that far away from beta day 1337 after all...

I just submitted a decent edit OVER someone's great edit because they were 5 seconds earlier in hitting submit than me. Now my edit will go through the queue and get declined after a long time.

On what site @Pimgd?
