@SEJPM I wonder how they’re defining “hack-proof”. Might be me, but simple “dropping the line” surely doesn’t qualify as “unhackable”. So, it must be a hell of a protocol they’ve invented to circumvent already known weaknesses in quantum networks… I hope they don’t count on the usually wrong idea: “we can’t hack it so it must be unhackable”. ;)

@e-sushi AFAICT they assume the EM emission produced by the correct implementation to be unforgeable (which may be more or less likely). And by assumption this is then secure ;) Crypto just works :) And of course if the No Such Algorithm assumption holds, which is equivalent to the Nobody Will Ever Bother Trying (NWEBT) this provides provable security.
