@Manishearth Could you look at the proposal page and tell me as to was the proposal hit by a serial downvoter ? I dont have the 1k rep on Area51 and it appears that the proposal received 18 downvotes a few hours ago.

@AshRj Yeah, I got a few as well. I can't see anything more than you can :s
And I dunno if downvoting a bunch of qs on a proposal is serial downvoting
however, I'll ask a comm team member to look at it :)
none of them around yet :s

@Manishearth I meant vote counts which are available after 1k

oh ah

@Manishearth It is serial and its downvoting :P

yep, there's a -1 on almost every example q

@Manishearth Whoever did it went through a lot of effort
18 downvotes I think
@Manishearth Great :)

@AshRj or he did what I'm doing right now--using jQuery to fetch vote counts :P
Top 24 questions are downvoted

@Manishearth If only I liked javascript, I would have tried to learn Jquery
I just have an intense dislike for everything that has java in their name :/

@AshRj java!=javascript
@AshRj Well, it's mighty useful for doing batch operations on the Internet

@AshRj We don't typically trying to gauge the intent behind proposal votes. We can't really throttle downvotes because historically, it's more likely that a proposal is bad than that someone is being malicious. Now, I'm not saying that Arduino is a terrible proposal, but it's possible that someone just didn't think the example questions were useful.
