I avoid the word in relation to individual users, though I have been known to use it in a broad sense.
The problem with it is that it is invariably perceived by the target as an insult word, and generally leads to escalation.

You are, explicitly allowed to call out bad physics, but are discouraged from making it about the person.
"What you've written here isn't even wrong" is better than "You're a nut."
And "What you've written here isn't even wrong, because ..." is better.

The algorithm is very simple. Take highest weight representations (easy to work out, though laborious when dealing with algebras with rank larger than 2), and add all weights
I'm not used to the physics terminology for this stuff. What is the highest weight corresponding to the $1$-representation of $SU(3)=A_2$?
Isn't it just $\Lambda=0$? lol
If so, then clearly the tensor product also only has the weight $0$ so you get the trivial representation again :P
