I avoid the word in relation to individual users, though I have been known to use it in a broad sense.

The problem with it is that it is invariably perceived by the target as an insult word, and generally leads to escalation.

You are, explicitly allowed to call out bad physics, but are discouraged from making it about the person.

I'm not used to the physics terminology for this stuff. What is the highest weight corresponding to the $1$-representation of $SU(3)=A_2$?

Isn't it just $\Lambda=0$? lol

If so, then clearly the tensor product also only has the weight $0$ so you get the trivial representation again :P

You can do it with just weights, and the Young tableaux stuff is even easier than weights :P

Like for SU(2), 1 (x) 1 is just X_a (x) Y_b = 1/2 symmetric part + 1/2 antisymmetric part

@Danu I have found some of what he's said funny & a lot just rude and offensive. My point, though, was that his jokes shouldn't be taken as anything more than jokes (I've seen enough imgur users ogling over his every word to know that people take his quips as serious worldview)
