@Memor-X The show had too many problems. They tried to give Kirito character when he never really had any, and it wasn't really a problem he never had any

Each arc the threat became less and less visible. First it was Kirito's life on the line, along with all his friends. Then it just became his girlfriend. Then it became random people. Then it became no one (except a few kids)
@SirCumference It was written as a web novel by a novice writer who was trying to meet the deadline for a writing contest, so the problems were really apparent.
Hmm, I didn't particularly dislike it. I stopped watching randomly and was never motivated enough to watch it again so I didn't watch enough to have a strong opinion.
@SirCumference you talking about how Kirito feels guilt from having killed people during the elimination of Laughing Coffin and killing Kuradeel. Kuradeel is one thing but i would have had problems with the series if Kirito took part in an extermination of a guild which killed real people yet he suffers from survivor's guilt because Sachii

Hell, each arc they give the new character a backstory to make them interesting, but then completely disregard that character in the next arc. All the SAO characters are useless in Alfeim, while Leafa gets attention. Then Leafa's ignored in GGO, while whatever her name is gets attention. Then that GGO girl is ignored in Alfeim again, while those kids get attention.
@SirCumference actually we do. from my understanding the main guy responsible for Death Gun was still on the run after the Phantom Bullet Arc and tried to kill Kirito again in the Alicization Arc which to my knowledge would be the next arc from the light novels that would be adapted unless they deviate significantly. also if your following the game Universe Poh, the leader of Laughing Coffin, appears in it and you have a trophy for beating him
@SirCumference I don't disagree that most background characters feel like walking cardboard with too much attachments around, but honestly the story was so "make-do" that any kind of character capable of meeting into the "lines up hours for the game release" AND "stupid enough to be part of kirito's harem" areas simply aren't real.
@SirCumference to my understanding that Arc was more about Yuuki and Asuna. hell aside from initally fighting Yuuki Kirito hardly shows up in it except for a couple of times to help Asuna and Yuuki
SAO to me feels more like the author wanted to see "this set of scenarios" happen and was basically laying a path towards it even if it makes no sense. Some people are into that.
@Unihedron to my the author want "people who play games having to make real decisions with consequences" because remember the author for SAO is the same author of Accel World and if you loose in Brain Burst you loose all your memories
@SirCumference I agree, but those moments end up making my watching experience worse. I remember at the first floor boss fight they have this revelation that they can make use of a "switching" strategy to fight as a pair well (?) and then after the fight the combat strategy immediately deleted itself.
For the next few minutes while they were just talking over something I forgot, I was waiting for them to explain what "switching" is like it would be appropriate (as no one in the crowd knew either), but it never happened

@Ikaros i should note that i havn't watrched ViVid or ViVid Strike yet but they continue to use Adult Mode which i feel is a crap spell but otherwise they're good from what i have seen
@Memor-X I think the direction was different but strikers still did what the series was good at, having grand fights and action scenes with compelling adventures that extend well
@Unihedron kinda. it uses the same characters like the Material Girls Seikou, Levi, Lord Dearche and Yuri but they have new backstorys, Precia and Alicia are alive and Fate is in their family. Hayate and her Knights are one family and even Suzuka and Arisa fight

I'm still confused about it. I have a feeling that she is in love with Kaneki, but it never states it. Also, did Touka have a crush on Nishiki? I know romance isn't really involved with Tokyo Ghoul, but I'm very curious.
In season 4 episode 102 of fairy-tail, the two enemies Gajeel fought talked to Erza about Zeref being in a "dormant" state or that he was technically "asleep". What happened to make him this way?
@ColdFire there is a bit more than just reading in a Visual Novel. in Fate/Stay Night's case there's making choices which generally affect the story, saving your progress and looking up Servant Stats and Weapons then they get unlcoked
not all visual novels are like that though. Kinetic ones you just read (no decision making except from when to save and quit) and you have some like Kamidori Alchemy Meister, Ein no Aselia and Demon Master Chris where you have actual gameplay in with the Visual Novel
oh and before you ask @ColdFire the difference between Beast's Lair patch and Mirror-Moon's is that Mirror-Moon's is for the original version which has no voices, it can add the voices but you need the PS2 game for that. also you don't get -Last Episode- which is the true, true end to the Fate Route
Beast's Lair patches Realta Nua PC but also adds the PS Vita's Soundtrack and Op Movies and the option to switch between the H Scene or not. also Realta Nua is running off the improved engine Fate/Hollow Ataraxia runs off from
all in all Realta Nua PC translated is far more superior because it has all the content
