If its not then could you tell me if theres an anime with arrogant male lead
@Quill It's very polarizing. If you're the kind of person who likes bad ends, then you might enjoy it; otherwise it's not great. Personally, I don't really care for it. The VN is better than the anime, but I still didn't really enjoy it much.
@HakashinouShinonouko we've seen what happens when Super Saiyens go into officially sanctioned fights. they either destroy the arena or embarrass old men
*sign* i forgot to bring my memorystick with me this morning so i loose out on an hour working on the Dynasty-Scans driver for my bulk image downloader
in an hour i could have built the image switching ready to implement the downloading
A certain Hakase-type Tomato had a good idea of a floating checklist for identification request questions. I believe that this is a good idea, as many of the new users who use this site for id-requests seem to struggle with details to give.
I'd like to open suggestions to the community for a che...
I've read and listened to anime reviewers rate the art and animation of a given title, and I'm not clear which is which, nor specifically what they refer to.
I imagine they're referring to the quality of visuals, but I'm not sure if the backgrounds are the art, the characters the animation, vice...
I only remember so much. I sound like a complete idiot, though I can only explain it like this.
-There were purple flowers that were like drugs.
- A guy found this pretty girl and kinda helped her get better since she was hurt.
- The chick had maybe pinkish orangeish purpleish hair?
- He became ...
This definitely meets the criteria for: " scarce clothing, which does not yet include partial nudity. Think of panty shots, skimpy clothing, naked bodys hidden by a cloud. Should be on topic, given that they are contained inside a >! (spoiler) area, and visibly warn the user of their content. This should both count for answers and questions alike. And were possible, especially in answers, avoided if possible."
When do we consider an answer in meta as "established"?
I see, I agree that should also be considered, to me personally that kind of stuff doesn't bother me unless theres nudity involved but I can see both sides of that clearly
I don't think theres any problem in your action there, it does break the question without the image but on the otherhand that was low-quality even for a picture id request, since they were asking for a recommendation. I'm asking mainly since this is an onging topic and I think it should be discussed.
I forgot who brought it up but I also would hate for someone to get in trouble due to an image stored in their cache on a workplace computer, tagging slightly NSFW pictures as spoilers can indeed hide them from people nearby but an image hidden like that would still be downloaded to the computer. Is spoiler tagging really the best solution?
It seems like changing it to a link would be more appropriate in borderline NSFW situations
That way you have a way to repudiate... If you clicked the link thats on you.
@MichaelMcQuade This is really a fringe scenario, if your work is scrutinizing the content of your browser cache, then you have a privacy issue that may violate laws in the workplace, depending on where you are
I've searched through a number of reverse-image websites and still couldn't find it.
I sure hope I complied with all of the requirements to ask this question. If not, my apologies.
Law make an alliance with Mugiwara to kill one of the Yonko, Kaido of the Beast. But, why Law want to kill Kaido?
Is that because Law want to be one of Yonko?
This may be largely a rhetorical point, but will you ever resolve to start banning these questions completely? You have been fighting with this problem for years, but as identify-this questions are surpassing 50% of the questions being asked (yes, I counted), the discussion always seems to be the...
My thoughts are similar to Robert.
Better to just get rid of them if its possible by community votes.
The way I see it, low quality questions are the norm across the board here. ID requests are not especially bad in that respect. Most of the in-universe questions and production questions are also quite bad these days.
The only reason people notice it more for ID requests is because there's more of them.
I'd be all in favor of any proposal to try to increase question quality in general, but I don't think the solution is just to get rid of half of the good incoming questions along with half of the bad.
As many of you know, one way or the other this site has a problem with identification questions.
The large and rising influx of identification questions, which are often of rather low quality, steadily keeps on deteriorating the image of this site and the brand of what it stands for, to which id...
Meh I still say that the biggest problem with ID questions on this site is the people who complain about them nonstop and distract from whatever real problems we have.
I forgot if it was an anime or manga (though I'm pretty sure it was a manga, or maybe it was both?) But the anime/manga I'm looking for is a military type anime where the main character is carefree but really smart when it comes to strategies.
Semi-SPOILER: In like the first few chapters/episode...
As I see it, we gotta compile a shortlist of bullet list items that would fit in one or very few lines in the side widget. We're dealing with lazy people here, so the longer each point, the more chance of tl;dr and we don't want that. In addition to the basic description, add a (?) button that sh...
I didn't even take that 3-items rule into account when making this suggestion. The importance of various points is very different from work to work. I think we can't objectively judge whether a point is minor or major without knowing its importance, so we shouldn't try to enforce this overly vague minimum threshold. Let's make it at least 5/10/15 distinct points of description instead? — Hakashinou Shinonouko50 secs ago
we should compile a list of points that might be important in an ID request, find the minimum number for each type (text only, image, video, song) and make the lower passing limit some significant number like 10/40 for text, 5/20 for image and 10/30 for video for example
image IDs would require the poster to describe the image in text in a bullet list to pass that threshold
