True, but you aren't watching most scenes for the art.

Unless it's something completely CG like minori's works (e.g. ef, Supipara), the sprites are there because they're inoffensive and good enough for ordinary dialogue scenes. But if you need to depict a particular scene visually, there should be CG for it.

For me, pre-2002 or so there's almost nothing worth watching except for historical reasons. 2002-2006 there are a couple dozen that I'd recommend, and after 2006 the number of shows worth watching has pretty steadily increased to the point that it's now the majority.

my winmo 6.1 smartphone has 128 MB of ram and it's almost filled by default system processes

the only way to do something complex on my netbook so far was to connect to my desktop pc via teamviewer :p

not even sure what you could do on the smartphone

got a test assignment to print system stats on a unix machine to file at work, it was fun finding out that most of the ready solutions on the internet don't work simply because proposed methods include using programs that are not installed

and they can't be installed, ever

coz it's a bank's call management program and nobody is allowed to mess with it or change anything

the most difficult part of the assignment was figuring out quote combinations that would make command inception work

for my first experience with unix ever though, I think it's been a success so far

ok apparently the intel atom CPU doesn't allow virtualization, so I can't install vmware workstation there

guess I'll just use a virtual machine on my desktop pc via teamviewer or remote ssh :P

another assignment I got was to write a text file in vi

it didn't display all the symbols entered and nobody knew for sure which symbols are entered when you press what keys

sometimes there appeared a caret symbol if you pressed the left arrow key, sometimes it did not

you only found out when you tried to run it as a shell script

it was messed up 100% of the time

not even the guy who gave me that assignment could make it work for an hour

I was a bit anxious to find out there are 20-something followers of a vi/vim site proposal :D
