it might be obvious but not observed, for example when I worked at McDonald's, we kept the frys in the warmer once they're cooked for a long time

but at this other place they can't leave them in the warmer for more than 5 mins or they get trashed.

some of the courses are pretty deep like how to use certain medical equipment

the character interaction, how stupid life is

it's like Curb Your Enthusiasm in a fantasy setting

you see one guy arguing with his friend about something small like parking

and then it snowballs

it's funny because thats how absurd life is

ppl naming their kids something stupid because their parents named them something stupid etc.

you see this all the time too lol

like, ghetto ppl name their kids Shaniqua or Beybey or whatever

in konosuba it's Yuiyui and Megumin

well that one requires cultural context, but it's still funny

and when I see top rated comedy skits on reddit it doesn't even move a muscle on my face

not my type of humor at all

@ton.yeung it's not that simple, sometimes very stupid and overly obvious jokes can get you like nothing else

there's a kind of relationship between joke complexity and fun that can be described by the uncanny valley graph, and the uncanny portion is very wide

the other day I saw a few stand up comedy battles where opponents just talk shit about each other and try to use the worst possible insults or diseases, and the whole room laughed, but to me it was just disgusting talk

hard time having fun, being a professor or fun

jokes are good when it's something unexpected

some of the best comedy skits I've seen haven't even touched any disgusting notions

I haven't been collecting them so I can't post any links, but I will if I remember anything

from the top of my head, a lot of good comedy can be found in top manga for kids, but not the battley killey shooty punchy type

Yotsuba was pretty funny afair

ichigo mashimaro was great

nichijou obviously had lots of funny sketches

I have to wonder why most people don't get that kind of humor and say (in a deep russian accent) "I don't understand it, this is not funny"

mushishi sometimes had very funny moments

that was not intended as a GoT reference, but ok
