you know how most works these days assume the viewer is a total idiot, so the work introduces us time and again to the basics of the fictional universe

and then there are works we've all been waiting for that don't treat us like kids

but there just might be those overly confident creators who think this level of detail is enough for the audience to understand everything

and then they turn out to be wrong

or maybe they didn't intend for the majority of viewers to understand anything, just some 3% or so

I wouldn't call Nerawareta bad, it's just unclear

I like anime for some of the values that were not present enough in it, but I feel like if you try hard to understand everything, it'll all become clear

there are multiple weak points in the human psychology that would make it very unlikely for the society depicted in the series to have formed and lived for so long

it's just so very unstable

but then we see exactly what could go wrong

at one point the higher authority just manipulates the kids' minds to make everyone go fuck themselves, sup wizzat?

if that has been going on for generations, surely that would not be taken lightly by the ones doing that manipulation

some would probably want to compromise that

the whole series is about a society that has to deal with stress or else it will crumble and explode

it's kinda stupid that it's come to that

what I mean is that the very methods used to control the stress could cause a lot more of it

and they should have at that point in the timeline

CCCP has been the standard in anime fansubbing for a while. Not that it's amazingly good, but it's recommended because it doesn't require setup to work and most groups test their releases against it.
