Q: Discovering descendants of 19th Century German immigrant to Australia who served in World War 2?

Conrad PostMy ancestor Phillip Post came to Australia from Eltville near Frankfurt in about 1860. He had a son Conrad from whom I know I descend. How would I discover the descendants of Phillip Post who served in World War 2?

I hope I have guessed the country that he emigrated to correctly - or that Conrad will edit the correct one in
Also, I hope you don't mind me extending weekly chat on GIS into another week - I'm moderating solo here for a few weeks and got elected to GIS moderator a couple of days ago so am quite busy at the moment
