did script handle for tiny_mce got removed from frontend? I can't enqueue it via the handle. Printing $wp_scripts and tried to search for the key but it isn't there.

@bungeshea instead of adduser shea www-data, try sudo usermod -a -G www-data shea, and then you need to logout and log back in again.

@auo doesn't seem to have worked, unfortunately

did you log out and log back in - modifying groups doesn't affect current session. what do you see when you do groups shea?

I used sudo reboot to logout. groups shea shows that I am part of the shea and www-data groups

Oh, JK... can't dump it while in the hook. Saved it to an option, dumped it later.
