If only @andra had a dollar for each time he asked a good question.

4 hours later…
6:35 AM
So you think he could do it professionally?
Yeah I got slashdotted! :)

7:01 AM
@RoflcoptrException Exactly.

7:41 AM
@AdityaSomani but this time the question was a fabricated one to suite @RoflcoptrException ;)
Another user got his/her account eliminated :(
Visa-free red light district tourism in Amsterdam :) baltic-review.com/2013/04/…

8:05 AM
@andra I'm at work! LOL

@AdityaSomani oh but the link is quite innocent
it only is text

Yeah, but you're quite good at it. This past month has been very good for me at SE. Many answers upvoted and good answers generated. :D Lots of good traffic too these past few weeks.
@andra Wow. Prostitutes traveling via flights daily into Amsterdam. That's amazing.

I am writing a question as we speak ;)

Ahan. I was writing one too! :D

Q: Tourist visa for Suriname for an Indian Citizen?

Aditya SomaniAfter some discussions, I found out that Caribbean Hindustani is quite popular in Suriname. This has inclined me to choose it as one of the next destinations on my bucket list. How can I get a tourist visa for Suriname as an Indian citizen? In my discussions, I have heard that it allows visa on...

Bling Bling! ;)

You mentioning of the NSFW remark of the embassy, made it to the ministry of foreign affairs :)
Unfortunatly I will not be able to answer that question :(

Q: Can you split India in distinct focal points to travel to?

andraIndia is quite appetising and visiting the country is on my bucket list. However, where to start that is the question. You more or less subdivide the US, In a northern and southern west coast, a northern and southern east cost, the rocky mountains, the south and the mid-west. You can hop around, ...

8:28 AM
@andra HAHA.

Hey it is a serious question!

Oh no. Not at that. Haha at the embassy... :P

So I told a friend I suriname, who has a friend in Brussels working at the embassy, etc
We can now measure how efficient the surinamese bureaucracy is.
Would it be my company, I would lift the sysadmin from his bed in the middle of the night to fix it immediately

@andra I agree. It's total blasphemy! :P

Well it is the first page foreigners go to when interested in your country

8:35 AM
Agreed.
Also, inform them of the calendar. It's slightly outdated and shows April 2013...
I'll attempt to answer your question andra. But not right now. This needs sufficient time and research.

Understood
Now that we think of it, @AdityaSomani you have just asked a visa question ;)
@AdityaSomani Did you see this: youtube.com/watch?v=HkZDSqyE1do ?

Haha. True true. But it's a visa question which is going to be hard to answer and was asked for the first time on the site. :P
HOLY SMOKES!
@andra A forest larger than Central Park and that too alone...
Damn.
#proudofmycountry

I have asked my friend in Suriname to forward your question to hist contacts

@andra Thanks a ton! :D

I told that you went to the embassy page to get an answer to that question but was scarred of by the NSFW comment
just a case of naming and shaming ;)

8:41 AM
Ah, I was missing the feeling of a new question. Posting questions has always been fun.
Haha. This is true. I was scarred. I was naive enough to actually click on it.
I was like "What is this bullshit?" And then I clicked on it. And I was at work. And I was like "Neeeeevermind".

Why don't you ask why indian citizen need to have so many visa
It is one I am asking myself

That IS a good question
I have NO clue.
I just assumed that being a third world country our diplomatic relations are pretty okay though...
But the problem remains, have you seen the amount of Indians living outside India
It's too damn, high. For christ sakes, 59% of Dubai is Indians!!!

This is South africa
Visitors to South Africa must obtain a visa from one of the South African diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries. Visitors who require a visa must apply in person and provide biometric data. All visitors must hold a passport valid for 1 month and with two blank pages. == Visa policy map == == Eligible countries/territories == Citizens of the following countries/territories do not require a visa: === 90 days === Citizens of the following 47 countries/territories who hold valid national passports are not required to obtain South African visas for visi...

But South Africa is a pretty well developed country. Isn't it?

Q: Where can I use a telephone in India, if I don't have one?

Kevin BurkeWe are currently staying in India, but neither of our phones work, which is annoying when trying to hire taxis, for instance, or meet up with people. Purchasing a phone/sim will take 7-10 days to go through so we can't do it. In the US there are usually pay phones in train stations or street co...

Just saw this question. Phone calls are super cheap in India. Just go get a SIM card. Buying an unlocked Chinese phone or something will also cost you like $10.
It makes no sense to hassle around...
To be honest, I have not been to a country with a better telecom network. All the other countries, I have had some issue or the other. India, no issues ever.
Fast, cheap as hell, works brilliantly, super flexible. It just works, out of the box and that's it.

9:32 AM
I would say india is more developed
my I guess it has to do with the size of the population prob
India allows fins and luxembourgers to enter
but you can't do the same for a specific region in India
I don't, just guessing

3 hours later…
lol

@AdityaSomani SA is developed in some things, and not in others. It's still Africa...
@jmac you're awesome, have bookmarked to show the others

1:03 PM
@MarkMayo This is true. Africa has some issues I don't disagree. Bookmark? Where?

@MarkMayo That place is quite famous, and definitely a good deal for lunch if you don't want to break the bank. What else do you guys want to do in Kobe? There isn't actually that much to do (great to live, not much to see), but if there is something you guys would like to have a Japanese-speaker/translator tag along for, I can probably swing it for a couple hours.
(also, what time are you planning to drop in?)

1:18 PM
@AdityaSomani I've bookmarked the link jmac gave me to show the others in my group
My years of luck finally ran out in hostels - bed bugs from Tabicolle Hostel in Fukuoka :(
My legs are a mess, a horrid mess :(
@jmac yeah we're working that out. We think Friday morning we're going to go from Hiroshima on the train to either Osaka to drop our bags, or stop in Kobe enroute. So probably do it for lunch. I'm waiting for one member of my group to rejoin us tomorrow and then we'll lock it in
thanks and much appreciated!

@MarkMayo There are lockers in almost any station, so you can drop them off depending on size in Kobe if you don't want to lug around and back with them. It's a few hundred yen for the lockers for a day (maybe 800 for the biggest ones).

1:37 PM
@jmac Maybe 300,500,700 for small, medium, large.
@MarkMayo I understand. Ok. :)

6 hours later…
8:00 PM
Wow a lot of new flags
