@Christoph Because we want people to be able to easily make posts to the community blog; if we let the chat for it freeze, nobody can even post here. So gung (with occasional help from one or two others) bumps it regularly so that if someone does want to post about the blog, they can do so without having to ask for it to be unfrozen and waiting for someone to act.
