@AlecosPapadopoulos - thank you for writing a post and reviving the blog! I will try to steal some time to dig into your argument and give feedback.

Hi Andy! It's been a long...
I'm happy you still get so much interest for the blog, and our site in general.

Hi @chl - yes it has!

Well, basically I'm only reviewing the site every day or so, but I must admit I don't have time to answer questions now :(
And this is pretty cool, because we have some high-rep users that got increased power and can moderate for us :)

Yes for the long haul it takes more of a slow pace to not get sick of the site - it can be quite the time suck if you let it. I am very happy about the growth of the site as well.
The blog is sort of the icing on the cake, it would be a great place for analysis of both our community and other SE communities. (So I'm glad it wasn't retired - even with no activity for near two years!)

@AndyW Yup. However, it's hard to get people involved.
There were also some arguments like everything that is put on the blog could well have been discussed on CV itself. I don't know where because this may well fall under our criteria regarding primarily opinion-based post, but anyway...

I like the blog as an additional platform for people to express opinions. It can be a platform to the wider SE community as well. Just another piece of the brewing stats community here.

@AndyW Indeed, we could also discuss in public chat rooms, but this would limit the visibility of CV (which is, I believe, what happened with the now dead Journal Club).

Good point about the journal club.
