@TheDestroyer No as of now i don't know. BTW this is also one of my favorite songs. Illayaraja is one of my favorite composers. Although i generally don't like the singer Vijay Prakash.
@TheDestroyer Arya may be a muslim but his features are not like those of a typical one. May be they (his family) were only recently converted.

@Rickross south indian mulsims are less rigid and peaceful

@RakeshJoshi Ok.

@TheDestroyer do u want to dance like arya at the dashashwamedh ghaat

@RakeshJoshi LOL

@Rickross have u seen jaggi vasudev dance

5:03 AM
@RakeshJoshi I have only seen him on TV during the nites of Mahasivaratri. Other than that i have not seen him much. What's so special about his dance?

in shivaratri he did dance right

@RakeshJoshi Yes may be ..somewhat like Chaitanya mahaprabhu? Also i don't watch only his celebrations.. I watch the live puja telecasted on the Sri Sankara channel too.

@Rickross Yeah. He looks like Hindu. Maybe recent converted Hindu.
@RakeshJoshi @Rickross Most of the Muslim's Ancestors in India were Hindus.
@RakeshJoshi I saw that whole event. I don't know why he danced.

5:11 AM
he dances in mostly all such events
i know this guy in FB

@RakeshJoshi Do u know him?
@RakeshJoshi Ok.

just interacted once long back ... he is from gujarat i guess

@RakeshJoshi Yes. i want to. But people may think i'm mad.

@RakeshJoshi He looks like Sp Tata from Astrojyoti without the beard..:P

@RakeshJoshi @Rickross that movie says Iswara gave boon to Aghoras that Aghoras can grant Moksha. Do you know any scriptures saying that?

5:13 AM
@TheDestroyer You can do behind closed doors..only ur parents will feel that u are mad but then u can explain them about what u were actually doing.
@TheDestroyer I have not read anything like that so far.

@TheDestroyer its just hearsay no one can grant moksha to anyone
@TheDestroyer many people are like that .. u dont have to worry about people .
but i heard that kashi is very dirty place now

@RakeshJoshi Well it can be possible.
@RakeshJoshi Even Ganges is quite polluted. But Kasi Ganges are mokshadayini.. What u see is just external impurity.

@Rickross how possible ?
one human can grant moksha to another?

@RakeshJoshi He is also Brahman ..so he can i think.

@TheDestroyer bathing in ganges is enough for moksha? then why do sadhana?

5:17 AM
@RakeshJoshi It maybe. But one can see Shiva- Parvati physically in Kashi. In Manikarnika Ghat, Shiva grants Moksha personally.

so far no one has seen
these are esoteric meaning dont confuse with physical

@RakeshJoshi There are rules. One can't get Moksha simply visiting Kashi or bathing in Ganga.
They are eligible for Moksha but may not be in this birth.
@RakeshJoshi Without internal purity, taking bath in ganga is of no use.

@RakeshJoshi Why do u think that no one has seen? I think enlightened persons can see.

Many Puranas say that.

no ...
that kashi is inside... when one leaves his body while his attention fixed in chidakasha
@TheDestroyer if one is already internally pure then what point of going to ganges ?

5:19 AM
@RakeshJoshi Ramakrishna Paramahamsa saw Shiva-Parvati in Manikarnika Ghat.

@RakeshJoshi What is inside is also outside.. one can visit either one of them..visiting the inner one is difficult so most people take the easier route.

but outside cannot grant spiritual results .. else all in kashi will get moksha

@RakeshJoshi
The party entered holy Benares by boat along the Ganges. When Sri Ramakrishna's eyes fell on this city of Siva, where had accumulated for ages the devotion and piety of countless worshippers, he saw it to be made of gold, as the scriptures declare.

He was visibly moved. During his stay in the city he treated every particle of its earth with utmost respect. At the Manikarnika Ghat, the great cremation ground of the city, he actually saw Siva, with ash covered body, and tawny matted hair, serenely approaching each funeral pyre and breathing into the ears of the corpses the mantra of liberati

@RakeshJoshi Taking bath in Ganges purifies the inside also. Because it takes away our sins. And without chitta purification sin cleansing is not possible. So saying u need to be mentally pure first and then bath in Ganges is absurd. Take bath and release ur sins.

A: Does taking a dip in the Ganges River actually wash away your sins

StudentA dip in Ganga river does remove all the sins when it is done with śraddhā and bhakti. To do so, the words śraddhā and bhakti should be understood. Bhakti is well known to everyone. Narada Bhakti Sūtras talks about nine forms of Bhakti. Ādi Śaṅkarācārya says mokṣa sādhana sāmagryāṃ bhaktireva g...

5:22 AM
@TheDestroyer ramakrishna had seen kali in dakshineshwar itself
so he was able to see at many places many deities

@RakeshJoshi You don't believe him?
@RakeshJoshi When you see Devi and if you say the same to people, people don't believe.

enlightened beings can see it everywhere
not any specific place

@RakeshJoshi So, there is no difference between Kasi and any other place? Between Kailasa and any other mountains?

@RakeshJoshi God is everywhere in form of Chaitanya. But can that Chaitanya manifest physically at every point?
@RakeshJoshi Shiva clearly says visiting Kashi won't grant Moksha in this very birth. Getting Moskha depends on many factors.

for spiritually elevated person no difference howrah and haridwar
@TheDestroyer u cant question god if he can physically manifest anyplace or not .. he can come to your house also

5:29 AM
@RakeshJoshi Yes. We can't say where he shows physically. So, Punya Kshetras are important because he showed up there physically long ago.

did u not hear the story of pundalika? lord came to his house and waited for him
in non punya kshetrra also he can manifest.. whole of india is good ...
he is not bound to any rules

@RakeshJoshi He can be He didn't. But now, PunyasKshtras > other places.

how u know he didnt ?
i have heard cowherds and wood cutters get his darshan
tirumoolar was a cowherd frim TN and his body was used as a divine medium

@RakeshJoshi Well when we invoke God he comes to our room..so nothing special in it..During one mahashivaratri me & my sister did a full nirjala fast. We both woke before sunrise and did the fasting and pujas to our capabilities. The next day in our puja room we have seen footprints of someone. Those are large footprints, not of some human being. We already knew who visited. WE even took pics on mobile but nothing was captured really.

if u have devotion then u can make god come to any place.. if u dont have then any punya place wont help you
@Rickross yes so where a spiritual person resides that place becomes punya kshetra itself

5:33 AM
@RakeshJoshi It's not possible for layman. They visit temples. Sada Shiva created Kashi even before creation and amsa of Sada Shiva stays there as great Avimukta Linga. Now, Avimukta Linga is superior to any other Linga.
@Rickross wow! Great. You saw footprints of Shiva.

this all dualities u have to transcend ...

vijayavada linga is not inferior to vishwanatha
and ur house linga is also not less
dont differentiate in gods for heaven sake
@Rickross i m born on nirjala ekadashi

If one chants the Dhyanam of any deity he will immediately feel the room atmosphere being changed. You will feel someone has appeared but you can't see. So God coming to our house can be a daily activity for anyone concerened. @RakeshJoshi

i believe that place becomes pilgrim center by presence of saints ...
example shirdi , mantralayam, akkalkot, pandharpur etc

@TheDestroyer Yes we were very excited. :)

@RakeshJoshi Kashi has two Lingas. Avimukta and Vishnwanatha Linga.

5:36 AM
all lingas are of one .. they are respresentation of sadashiva infinite form

@RakeshJoshi That means on the Bhima Ekadashi in august?

not august but june !

@RakeshJoshi Oh..

jyeshtha shukla ekadashi

@RakeshJoshi I think you like this answer.

A: What is the Yogic meaning of getting liberation by reaching Varanasi?

TezzThe term "Reaching the Varanasi" itself has a deep yogic significance. It is described in Vedas itself. Actually the term Varanasi means "beyond nose". Naasi = Nose in Sanskrit and it is implying to reach the area which is beyond nose (ie. Middle of the eyebrow) ie. Ajna Chakra. Hence Vedas State...

5:37 AM
@RakeshJoshi Ok

yes i have seen this answer...

ajna chakra is the place where inner kashi is located. if u get access then great
@Rickross i think nirjala has to do with vishnu and not shiva i suppose?

Are Agamas considered occult or esoteric than other scriptures?

@RakeshJoshi Nirjala has to do with upavas not with any particular deity.

@Pandya means ?
yes they are occult and esoteric
@Rickross usually vaishnavites observe fast and then do pooja of vishnu

@RakeshJoshi just asking reading topic of the room.

5:40 AM
so does sankara accept that yoga is capable of granting moksha ?? — Rakesh Joshi Feb 18 at 9:10

@RakeshJoshi I have also done many nirjala fasts.. The next morning when u drink coke it feels as if u are consuming amrita.. :P

@RakeshJoshi Shankara did Parakaaya Pravesha. How could be it possible without yoga?

@TheDestroyer as per him only jnana can do .. bhakti and other things are just preparatory for jnana
@Rickross bloody hell .. coke is a mleccha drink :@
@TheDestroyer parakaya pravesha was not for spiritual purpose or enligthenment

@RakeshJoshi I sometimes drink coke, limca etc :(

@Rickross @RakeshJoshi What is significance of Nirjala Ekadashi?

5:41 AM
@Rickross high PH acidic... try to avoid them ... load of calories and artificial sugar
@TheDestroyer u have to fast and also try to avoid water throughout the day its difficult as its core summer time
if u do this vrata u get fruits of all the ekadashis of the year

@RakeshJoshi I drink thums up. Bharatiya Drink. :P :P

@Pandya yes they are occult and esoteric

@TheDestroyer Nirjala means without jala or water..in that fast the devotee don't consume even water..so the fast can be broken by simply consuming water on the next day..

@TheDestroyer artificial sugar and acidic pH is harmful for body ... it can be used as tiles cleaner too..
once a month is ok .
try to find alternatives ... rose milk or lemon juice ..

@Rickross ohh ok. I follow the same during Maha Sivaratri.

5:44 AM
@TheDestroyer how should i proceed to meta SE and how should i frame my post about swastika

@TheDestroyer I think the story goes like this..Krishna taught the pandavas to do ekadasi vratas..but Bhima being a foodie did not like the idea.. For him Krishna said u don't have to do all the 24 fasts but u do only one which falls on the rainy season but do a nirjala fast..By doing so one can get the fruits of doing all the 24 vratas that are in a year.. That ekadasi was thus named after Bhima.

@Rickross its not rain but greeshma rutu

@RakeshJoshi Open account there. Write about esoteric aspects of Swasthika. Say how tilted Nazi Swasthika is not offesive to Hindus. If possible, show Temple pic. And don't complain about Mods. Just say it was removed as offensive.

Nirjala Ekadashi is a Hindu holy day falling on the 11th lunar day (Ekadashi) of the waxing fortnight of the Hindu month of Jyestha (May/June).[2][3] The ekadashi derives its name from the water-less (Nir-jala) fast observed on this day.[3] It is considered as the most austere and hence, most sacred of ekadashis. If observed religiously, it is said the most rewarding and granting the virtue gained by the observance of all 24 ekadshis in the year
@TheDestroyer so keshav will get away with his misdeed ?

@RakeshJoshi Yes , that's why its difficult to pass a day without consuming water

5:47 AM
its on june 5 this year

@RakeshJoshi if Community Mods have no problem, it will be allowed, given they allow sentiments of Hindus,

@RakeshJoshi I have done this ekadasi before..

@RakeshJoshi Try to quote scriptures and provide good online sources. Don't make Hitler or Nazis good. Mention very little about them.

but they have removed by claiming nazis only

@RakeshJoshi CMs are helpful. They may allow given sentiments of Hindus.

5:51 AM
ok

Add this pic.
@RakeshJoshi Use this pic. It has more res.

i have to post pics from wiki

What pics?
If you post anything from wiki or other sources, mention sources. They are pedantic.

6:58 AM
@RakeshJoshi Why don't u post in MEta using the image given by The destroyer? Thrs a tilted swastika in it.

ok will do it
