Sorry. How to say it in Japanese? This dog looks more adorable after being shaved.
Please poke me if you response this. Sometimes I don't get notified.
Thank you in advance.

Here is my attempt: この子犬は、剃毛された後にもっと愛らしくなります。

@FriendlyGhost I'm not sure whether this is natural, but I'd phrase it as この犬、毛を剃ると今よりかわいらしくなります

how about this この子犬は毛を剃られた後にもっと愛らしくなっています。

There's something wrong-sounding about 〜後 and your passive voice
are we talking about a situation after the dog has been shaved?
i.e. is the dog shaved now?

I translated it as 'this dog looks better after shaving', not as 'now that the dog's shaved, it looks better'
hm.

It has been more adorable after being shaved.

try もっと → 前より and なっています → なりました
I'm really not sure how to phrase it when the dog's still half-shaved.

why do i have to change to なりました while I want to say it has been becoming more adorable rather than it became adorable?

I'm still not quite sure which state of shaving we're in
この子犬の毛を剃れば剃るほど、よりかわいく見えます ... is a silly sentence
'the more I shave this puppy, the more it looks adorable'
この子犬、毛を剃ると、今よりかわいくなります。
"this puppy isn't shaved right now but I've seen him when shaved, and he's adorable then"
この子犬の毛を剃って、かわいくなりました。 (or なってきました)
"I shaved this puppy and now he's cute."
この子犬は今、毛を剃っているところだけど、かわいくなりそうです。
"this puppy is being shaved right now and the progress looks promising"
they're a bit silly, but one of those might work. @FriendlyGhost
毛を剃られているところ maybe. I don't think the passive voice is all that natural for these sentences.
hopefully a native speaker will now come and berate me for these unnatural sentences.

I don't understand the "becoming more adorable" thing—isn't the change of state complete that the dog's been shaved?

@snailboat Oh, you're right. I forgot and I'm probably going to forget again, because it's such a strange "privilege" to vote on answers on your own question...
