The new Commander 2016 set comes with a deck commanded by Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder, who can apply cascade to cards his player casts.

There's been one group that misunderstood Yidris the same way several of us did, and only realised it was any different when I pointed it out. So that pushed me to give it a full explanation, since I doubt they're the only ones.
@doppelgreener And half of it essentially has haste. Put the four counters on any flyer that you already had, and you now have a gigantic flyer plus a 4/4.
At that point opponent moves from "Wow that card is good" to "Wow this guy has all of the bombs in his color" which makes a match kind of depressing to win or lose

I just came back across Feldon of the Third Path. It is the card with the saddest story I know of. (At least, delivered by the card itself. I haven't read *any* short stories about Feldon, but the card tells me more than enough.)
