@Daniel Seriously, this is the risk you take when you write anything and put it out there for people to read. It's the cost of doing business, just as raising children and sending them out into the world risks those children doing stuff to the world you'd rather they didn't. ...

A friend emailed to ask me about Jewish baby names: making up names, modifying names, using roots, grammar implications, etc...
But, either because she's unsure, or because she wants to keep her naming ideas private, The question was very vague.

Additionally...anybody got any books or websites, or know any people they can ask, that I can send to her in an email?

@SethJ If the question doesn't fit our model, it's got to be either fixed or closed. Hopefully, if this is necessary, it will be done in a nice manner.

@SethJ Her rabbi would, of course, likely be an excellent resource. Discretion, knowledge of her circumstances, knowledge of relevant standard of Jewish practice, and wisdom would all hopefully/presumably be present.
... If she hasn't got one that fits the bill, perhaps you could suggest your rabbi, who does.
