I'm very surprised this question and the low quality of the posts has not gotten much attention from the shomrei hachomos (mods). There is so much potential for a good ma'aracha on this topic.

Q: Using baby wipes on Shabbos

Gershon GoldThere are those that use baby wipes on Shabbos, and those that do not. And then there are those that use only the thinner ones and not the thick ones. What is considered thin and what is considered thick?

K'nireh @DoubleAA even if he is off topic and not human, he is a philosopher
@loewian And I am a philosopher. You are welcome to use whatever epistemic standards you find appropriate for warranting your rational beliefs. Don't yell at me though for using terms differently than you. If you can forgive me for sounding overly Charedi: modern science doesn't have a monopoly on intelligent discourse.

@Mefaresh I just flagged both answers as NaN, because they only contain a link.

@Scimonster thank you. Hopefully it will engender more attention and quality answers
@Scimonster I don't a tag on this answer though: judaism.stackexchange.com/a/3325/5514

@Mefaresh What do you mean, a tag?

Sorry meant flagged
Actually forget the whole thing.
As in what I just asked a second ago. Not vis a vis the post itself

@Mefaresh we're all shomrei hachomos, not just the three mods (who I think all post-date the asking of that question; I for one had not seen it before).

@MonicaCellio of course I was saying it tongue and cheek. But Chaval that question has received its due attention

A: Why a Beitzah on the Seder Plate?

Abraham BaronBEITZA Roasted egg Growing up (I am now 92) we always roasted our egg in the oven and we never ate it. We had plenty of hard boiled eggs to eat.

As much as I understand to comment and downvote I implore all to take into account he is 92 and kavod for the older should prevail
Assuming he is telling the truth

"On the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog" is an adage which began as a cartoon caption by Peter Steiner and published by The New Yorker on July 5, 1993. The cartoon features two dogs: one sitting on a chair in front of a computer, speaking the caption to a second dog sitting on the floor. As of 2011, the panel was the most reproduced cartoon from The New Yorker, and Steiner has earned over US $50,000 from its reprinting. == History == Peter Steiner, a cartoonist and contributor to The New Yorker since 1979, said the cartoon initially did not get a lot of attention, but later took on a life of...
@MonicaCellio While it's good to leave a comment pointing out the LOA, the poster hasn't been seen in around 3 years, so i'm not sure how effective it'll be. :/
What does it say? As it stands this is a link-only answer, which isn't very helpful to people coming here for answers. — Monica Cellio ♦ 1 hour ago

@Scimonster right, I left that comment for the benefit of others. Once before somebody else donated the labor to fix an accepted link-only answer, so I figured before I just commentify it I'd see if anybody is inclined this time. (Nobody owes that, of course!)

5:55 PM
@MonicaCellio I'll add it to my to-do list. I have another accepted LOA on there that i'll see about expanding at some point. As a new answer of course -- i wouldn't do all that work and not even get (potential) reputation!

@Scimonster understood, and thanks. And yes, if you're going to do the work it makes sense that you'll do it as your own post. :-)

@Scimonster You'll just have to keep trying different random combinations of letters until one comes up with my avatar.

was there ever consensus on how to handle LOA in the VLQ queue? Delete? Looks OK?

@DoubleAA has there been any feedback on your efforts related to this project?

Does anyone have any constructive criticism to better this post?

A: Emotional distress with the overly sensitive

MefareshThe Gemara in Bava Metzia (59a), in dealing with the prohibition of causing anguish - Onaas Devarim, says that it is imperative to speak to ones wife nicely, for they cry very easily. אמר רב לעולם יהא אדם זהיר באונאת אשתו שמתוך שדמעתה מצויה אונאתה קרובה The Gemara is saying to take into account...

@DoubleAA? Nothin'?

@yEz LOA == NAA. Delete.
