Of all the questions I've asked here, this is my first Notable Question?? I don't get it.

@MonicaCellio Odd. Yeyasher kocheich, in any case. It's certainly worthy, even though I'd've expected it to be, popularity-wise, closer to the tail of the distribution than the mode.
@DoubleAA Yeyasher kocho! And fitting that it should be announced by the very first Deputy, later promoted by the community to full-blown Sheriff.
@DoubleAA and other pronunciation-pedants (and I use the term with unadulterated affection, as a junior-grade member of the group myself) may find this analysis by Dr. David Berger as thought-provoking as I did.

@IsaacMoses thanks. I don't think it's a bad question, obviously, yeah, I expected it to be nearer the tail than some of the questions I've asked. But eh, I'm often surprised by which questions catch on and which ones just sit there forlornly, so I guess I'm not a good judge of these things. :-)

YEZ
@MonicaCellio I'm only note-worthy for my purim-Torah.

@YEZ Notable, sure -- at least so far. But I disagree on noteworthy; gaining >10k rep and a big pile of solid contributions to the community (editing, reviewing, and I see a Sportsmanship in there...) in just over half a year is pretty impressive to me!

Tag Usage in Notable Questions Non-general tags high on our list: gentiles, hechsher-certification

@IsaacMoses thank you.

YEZ
@IsaacMoses wow, only one question

@YEZ Hmm that is somewhat surprising.
Tag Usage in Popular Questions Fewer very specific tags near the top. Women, it seems, are more popular than notable.

Q: Where could an ultra-orthodox baal t'shuva etc. realistically find a shidduch?

NBZWhen it comes to shidduchim, the ultra-orthodox (both chassidim and non-chassidim) often seem to discriminate against equally (or even more) religious (children of) baalei t'shuva, gerim, persons of color, b'nei niddah, and others of lesser yichus. Lev Tahor is an example of an ultra-orthodox ch...

This really makes me sad.
