@msh210 On the basis of the apparent consensus, I've begun implementation. I've re-tagged the questions I'd listed as examples (one with no change, on second thought) and all of the ones that had been marked israel-defense-forces. That's all for right now, to protect the front page. Anyone who wants to help with retagging is welcome, of course. I request mod help with synonyms.

... I see now that eretz-yisrael already has synonyms the-land-of-israel and israel. So, no need to add a synonym for it, but I'd recommend removing israel as a synonym. We still could use medinat-yisrael as a synonynm for state-of-israel.

@Argon do you have a library i can sort through and see if im interested in anything? i have a libary of over 6000 articles and books

@MoriDowidhYa3aqov I've a modest one, but it's not on the cloud. Many books I read in hard copy too.

@Argon my library is on google drive. i have hard copy books too but no where near 6000 lol. when i was in college i spent most of my free time in the library scanning hard copy books into pdf as well

i have a few magnes press hebrew books in pdf form as well if you want them
