@TRiG, because of your recommendation (and my general enjoyment of this kind of thing), I'm watching my first complete episode of Only Connect. (Well, complete so far. I'll see if I wind up finishing it.) It is series 6, episode 15, and the hostess seems to be allowing partial answers from -slash- giving hints to one team, the Wordsmiths, repeatedly.

Of course, maybe she would for the other team, also, had the opportunity presented itself.

can give a full answer when prompted. (Round 4 is strickter.) The tall/strong one is a bit odd, but they did actually say "strong" too.
