I assume the OP was trying to strengthen the question by showing a use of the term and didn't intend to ask only what that author meant. If he'd instead said "I've heard people (or, more narrowly, Jews) use this term, would you object?

@MonicaCellio My second objection would fall away then. (And the question would be better worded as asking what's generally meant, not what's meant by the people the OP has heard.) I'm still on the fence about the topicality, though. But, hey, it didn't accrue any closure votes or downvotes in its first ~4 weeks on-site, so I guess the community doesn't think it's particularly off-topic, and you and @IsaacMoses don't, either, so ignore me.
